Wests have become a Corporate Member of The Lion and we are encouraging all members to also join The Lion as a corporate member.

FREE corporate membership at The Lion includes 15% off all food and beverage. If any of you have a membership card with The Lion, they can easily swap over to corporate membership for you.

It is the Club’s intention to use the facilities at The Lion more often during next season including monthly get togethers after a Sunday Division 1 game for a meal and drinks – it is only ten minutes down the road from our Club

This App can be your one stop shop for all Club related matters

The Brisbane Bandits are Queensland’s baseball team who compete in the Australian Baseball League (ABL).

In Round 6 the Bandits take on the Perth Heat at Viticon Stadium (Windsor).

We have 100 free tickets for registered players!

We would like to see as many junior players attend. One lucky junior team will join the action and run on-field with the Bandits!

How it works

• Your name (and email address) will be provided to Brisbane Bandits for free tickets.
• They will allocate your ticket via Vivenu and send you a unique link.
• You will be able to purchase additional tickets for the game using the link.

If you would like to join us at Wests Club night, please reply with player’s name, team and email address (for ticketing).

Free tickets will be allocated to junior players in the first instance.

We have had over 100 members and supporters attend Club Night at Bandits in previous years. It’s a great night to socialise with other club members and watch the Brisbane Bandits in action!

WESTS XMAS LITTLE LEAGUE CAMP

Overseen by Independent Professional Baseballer Donny Goodes

Led by former high school and NCAA Division 3 coach, Donny Goodes, and assisted by Germany U23 national team player, Moritz Köhler, the Wests Little League camp will teach the basic fundamentals to youth players looking to expand their game, while putting fun at the forefront of learning.

Little League Camp will consist of:

• Basics of catch play
• Footwork
• Basics of the baseball Swing
• Baserunning
• SCRIMMAGES **given enough players
• Daily challenges/games to promote athleticism, teamwork, communication, and perseverance

WHEN: DEC 9th-13th

FROM 4.30pm – 6pm DAILY

If any player – junior, adult male or female – is interested in getting some one on one private baseball lessons; our American import player Don Goodes is your Coach and tutor.

Don has experience at the D1, D3, NAIA , as well as independent professional level. Throughout his collegiate career he was primarily an outfielder and would occasionally get on the mound.

In his senior year of college, he began to turn his focus to pitching.  In 2023, he graduated from Adrian College and began coaching at Ohio Northern University (NCAA D3) as well as at Celina High School.  In 2024, he signed with the Eastside Diamond Hoppers as a LHP.

For experienced players seeking competitive play, Wests is also looking to form a Division 1 team.
