2026 BRISBANE ASSOCIATION SEMINAR

This course is for those who wish to umpire Adult player games.

The annual Brisbane Association Seminar will be hosted by All Stars Baseball Club Inc. on Saturday the 19th of September to Sunday the 20th of September.

This is the only planned Association Umpire Accreditation seminar in Brisbane for the Greater Brisbane League Baseball 26/27 season, so mark your calendars. Both days start at 8:30am, with lunch provided on the Saturday.

2026 COMMUNITY UMPIRE COURSES

This course is for those who wish to umpire junior games. Each junior team will need an Umpire to umpire away games so we encourage all parents to consider joining one of these courses – they are only a couple of hours.

All new umpires need to complete the Introductory Level Officiating General Principles from the Ausport site prior to doing any courses. www.ausport.gov.au/official.

Wests Goes Pink 2026

One of our favourite rounds of the year is back. Wests Goes Pink returns on 24 & 25 October 2026, with the Bulldogs coming together for our annual Breast Cancer Round.

It’s always a great weekend around the club, bringing our players, families and supporters together to enjoy some baseball while raising awareness and showing our support for those impacted by breast cancer.

We’re Looking for Raffle Donations

As part of this year’s round, we’ll once again be running raffles across the weekend and are reaching out to our Wests community for support.

Western Districts Baseball Club is proud to support ROIDAware, a research project exploring the influences young people experience through sport, fitness culture and social media, including awareness of steroids and peptides and other performance and image enhancing drugs (PIEDs).

From performance expectations to appearance pressures, young athletes face a range of influences both on and off the field. This research aims to better understand those experiences.

Women’s Baseball at Wests for 2026/27

Rookieball Training Starts 2 September! ⚾

Our Under 10 Rookieball players are getting ready to return to the diamond, with training commencing Wednesday 2 September.

Sessions will run from 4:30pm to 6:30pm, or until dark, as we get the team ready for the season ahead.

Our Buddy League and Tee Ball programs are back for another season, with sessions commencing Wednesday 14 October from 5:00pm to 6:00pm.

A great introduction to baseball for our youngest players, with plenty of fun, skill development and time on the diamond.
