RESULTS FROM CLUB FORUM AND ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING – FRIDAY 10 MAY 2024

Points made at Club Forum (in no particular order) – these to be worked through by Committee at later meetings

1. Team coaches need assistance – by both parents and Senior players
   1. Arrange Senior players to attend junior team trainings Monthly if possible – provides connection between Seniors and Juniors
   2. Possible 7th innings stretch – have junior players join Senior players on ground
2. Academy – use this forum to improve Coach training
3. Committee – show photos of each Committee member on Clubroom walls and on website – possibly have shirts for each Committee person
4. Communication – use Stack app to communicate throughout Club teams. Email to be used in addition to Stack team App
5. Events
   1. Home Run Derby preseason
   2. Use Clubrooms more
   3. Canteen open for training – sausage sizzle etc.
   4. Ask Bandits players to attend junior trainings
   5. Make Club exciting
   6. Show baseball games in Clubroom on TV
6. Safety – install speed humps around Clubrooms
7. First Aid – see if we can have First Aid officers attend all junior trainings
8. Umpire training – incorporate into Academy – possibly ask Mark Bramwell QBUA to assist
9. Social Media – need assistance to update Social Media in a timely fashion – need to continue with Branding set up by Ian Thatcher
10. Fields – need to mow fields lower
    1. Look at possibly purchasing grass clippings collection machine – refer to Indians for purchase origin
    2. Get more help mowing fields – David Astill volunteered
11. Volunteers recruitment – possible reduced fees for volunteers
12. Look at players developing their own sponsor – how does Club provide player sponsor a return on their investment?
13. Equipment – need more baseballs available for training – look at investing in team locker for team gear
14. Maybe purchase more team gear through Marketplace – particularly bats.
15. Need Volunteer Coordinator
