Volunteers Needed – Sunday 21 December 2025 – Bunnings BBQ Fundraising at Bunnings Oxley
The Club will hold a Bunnings BBQ fund raiser at the Bunnings Oxley store on Sunday 21 December 2025 and we NEED YOUR HELP
Please ensure you mark down Sunday 21 December in your diaries as a date claimer to help the Club sell sausages at Bunnings Oxley
Profits from this Fund Raiser will go towards our project to get our field lighting upgraded to game quality lighting on both fields
Here are the details
Sunday/Public Holiday Trading Hours 7:00am-6:00pm
Running Times for BBQ – 8.00am to 4.00pm
Arrive– 7.00am
Start Cooking- 7.30am
Turn off BBQ- 3:30pm and sell remaining sausages
Finish BBQ- 4:00pm
Clean till- 4:30pm
Food Handling
The safety of the customer is paramount; therefore, all community groups must abide by the following food handling standards, to continue to follow the Health and Standards of Bunnings Warehouse.
For safety of all involved, no persons under the age of 13 are permitted to operate any equipment.
Between 3 and 5 people work in the BBQ area at any one time.
All persons working on the BBQ and handling food must wear food handling gloves.
Please keep handling money and handling food mutually exclusive.
All food products either raw or cooked should not be handled with bare hands.
Separate equipment should be used for cooked and raw products.
Cold food must be kept below 5 degrees, hot food above 60 degrees.
Tables and preparation areas must always be kept clean and sanitised and regularly wiped down every hour on the hour.
Bread, onions, and meat should only be removed from packaging when cooking and only in amounts required at that time.
No raw products should be kept uncovered or out of an esky prior to cooking.
Disposal of Rubbish and Fat
Please be aware that our store doesn’t have a sufficient facility to dispose of the rubbish and fat that the Community BBQ accumulates.
Please be aware that your community group must dispose of all rubbish and fat that accrues during the day of your BBQ.
